I hate these. I don't know what to put here! I don't know what to say about myself that doesn't sound ridiculously stilted or just plain ridiculous. I don't think I've been happy with a single profile I've ever written -- or, for that matter, with a single picture I've ever taken. There is some kind of Heisenberg uncertainty principle for online profiles that means that no matter how accurately one tries to capture every aspect of oneself in word form, the closer one gets to one aspect, the harder it is to describe any other parts of oneself.
Or maybe it's just me. I have something of a tendency to fly about in all directions at once while also being completely inert.
Anyway, as you can see, I am more than a little bit mad, although I like to think of myself as "eccentric". I bake for a living, having recently acquired a massively expensive culinary degree in baking and patisserie. I'm an enormous geek and jack of all trades. I love books, adore music, enjoy video games, and watch television somewhat desultorily. I like to believe that the world can become a better place through the concentrated effort of its residents, and that, within my lifetime, some kind of peace can be established between all people, of every possible identification. As you can probably tell, I'm still young enough to be hopelessly optimistic about the future.
And that's it, really. Everything else is more or less noise on the line.

If you've still got your livejournal and still plan on using it, feel free to add me at I'll probably be posting more frequently there until I get my sea legs here.
